Dammers Restaurant Charcoal 100% White Quebracho 15 kg
White Quebracho charcoal is made from the holm oak, which is found in Latin America (Argentina / Paraquay / Uruquay). Quebracho is a heavy charcoal type (high sg). Makes a little less easy, but burns against it for an exceptionally long time. Hardly any splash or spark. (Even significantly less than Marabu charcoal)
Due to good control of the carbonization process (thanks to our producer), the percentage of Volatile Substances is very low and the carbon content is very high. This leads to a charcoal that gives off a neutral odor and taste, and absolutely no nasty petroleum / oil diffuses air .
This is often mentioned as a disadvantage of Quebracho charcoal, but it is clearly the result of an uncontrolled and careless production method.
