BBQNovation Fireglass Felt For Kamado
This replacement set gives your Kamado a fresh look and, above all, ensures that your Kamado can do its job nicely again. Felt and to a lesser extent fiberglass lose their sealing ability through aging and use of the kamado. It is therefore important to provide your Kamado with a new packing once every year or two years, depending on the intensity of use.
And if you do it, do it well with a high-quality packing of Fiberglass or while Fiberglass. This is more durable and lasts longer than felt.
Suitable for Kamado's with the size Medium & Large
Use: The old felt should be carefully removed with the supplied scraper and brush. Make sure there are no glue residues left and make sure that the edge of both the Kamado itself and the Dome (lid) is free of dust and grease. Before you start sticking, measure whether the tape fits properly (so before you remove the adhesive tape). If so cut or cut to the correct length with a good pair of scissors or a sharp knife, stick the tape to the dome making sure the start and end are at the hinge point. Connect the beginning and end with the extra connecting piece supplied and stick it firmly. You use the same method for the Kamado itself. Make sure that you slightly offset the start and end piece in relation to the connecting piece on the dome to ensure a good airtightness.
