Product description

The Windmill Campfire Ring

In the past we often prepared meat on a hibachi grill. Do you remember that? A steel tray with charcoals and two of those racks above it. Very cozy, but before you knew it your stick was saté between the smoldering charcoal or burned over the too hot fire. Did you know that the hibachi is originally a Japanese invention? That was a pot in which you could put charcoal. In North America, a hibachi was a stew with a flat plate above it, which is called a teppan in Japan.

And that brings us back to our cast-iron grill bowl! This is not only great to see, but also very functional! A kind of inverted sombrero hat on legs. Put it above a circle of glowing briquettes and put the ring full of sauces and pieces of baguette. The 'ball' can then be used to make a nice satay sauce for example. Or make a fire under the ball and prepare a soup or (meat) fondue. Handy hey!
