Römertopf Kooksteen Brick
This 'Brick' hob from Römertopf represents a new way of enjoying. In the 'Brick' all kinds of ingredients such as vegetables, fish, new potatoes, meat and even pieces of fruit can be prepared in a healthy way.
Because the 'Brick' is made of a special clay type, it is fire-resistant and resistant to temperature shocks. This allows you to use the 'Brick' not only in the oven, microwave and grill, but also on the barbecue and even in a campfire. Perfect for the kitchen, but even more fun during a garden party or event! In addition, everyone fills his or her own cooking stone with his or her favorite ingredients, and you enjoy your favorite dishes together.
Before use, the lid must be placed in cold water for about 15 minutes. The lid absorbs the moisture, this evaporates during the baking process, so that the ingredients cook until tender. Taste, vitamins and nutrients are thus retained as much as possible, and of course there is no need for adding fat. And thanks to the perfect heat distribution, the content cooks evenly. The hob, designed by Optimus in collaboration with Römertopf and made in Germany, may be used in the dishwasher after use.
