In 'Hot Coals - The recipe book' there are forty-five original and surprising dishes to prepare with a kamado. Not only meat and fish, but also vegetarian dishes and even desserts are discussed. The recipes in the book provide the opportunity to practice with practically all cooking techniques that are feasible with the popular outdoor cooker. Whatever brand kamado you have, everything will taste great. The dishes can be prepared year-round, regardless of the weather and wind.
Jeroen Hazebroek cooks from an early age on open fire and barbecues. In 2006 he came into contact with the kamado. He is the owner of Het Kookvuur, which specializes in providing training, demonstrations and workshops.
Leonard Elenbaas is chef and cooks almost daily with a kamado in his restaurant kitchen. Leonard also teaches in outdoor cooking at cookery courses.
'Hot coals - the recipe book' is the third cookbook of both chefs.
