Product description

Chroma JapanChef Whetstone 200/800

Japanese whetstone for sharpening Japanese chefs. Japan chefs are easy to tighten thanks to their special alloy and hardness. It is best to use a whetstone for sharpening. The Japanese whetstones are very suitable for this.

Directions for use: Always keep the blade at an angle of 15 - 20 degrees when sharpening it. Hold the hand-hold of the knife firmly in your hand and let the blade glide over the whetstone in a motion and return to your body. During these repetitive movements, you use the fingers of the other hand to press the blade so that it always maintains good contact with the whetstone.

After one side has been sharpened, turn the blade over and let the other side of the blade glide over the whetstone in the same way. Repeat this up and down movement until the knife is sharp again. After a number of times you are trained in such a way that you will recognize the sound when you sharpen the knife well.
