Texas Burger Jalapeño / Cheddar & Mango Salsa
For 4 persons
Ingredients:
- 4 Texas citizens
- 4 Multigrain balls (baked)
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Southern Dutch A Touch or Sweet BBQ Rub
- 1 ripe mango
- 1 large red onion
- 1 spring onion
- Mixed salad
- Fried onions
- Parsley
- Chives
- Olive oil
- mayonnaise
- The Rose Garden Roses are Red BBQ sauce
Necessities:
- BBQ with lid
- Vuur&Rook Burger flipper
- Vuur&Rook Glace Brush
Step 1 : Go Go Go, Fire Up The Q! Light your BBQ and heat it up to ± 150°C degrees. Provide an arrangement with both a direct and an indirect zone.
Step 2: Bake the bacon until crispy on both sides, place them on the indirect zone and sprinkle with rub.
Step 3: Clean the mango and cut it into small cubes and put it in a bowl. Cut the spring onion into very thin rings. Clean the red onion and cut 3 nice slices from the middle. Remove the outer 4 rings and set them aside. The rest of the onion can be finely chopped and together with the spring onion with the mango. Add to this mixture 1.5 tablespoon parsley, 2 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon rub and mix this.
Step 4: Finely chop the fried bacon and mix it with an equal amount of fried onions and 1 to 2 tablespoons chives.
Step 5: Cut open your burger dumplings and grill them briefly on your Q. Lubricate them with mayonnaise.
Step 6: Grill the burgers and let the cheddar cheese melt on the indirect zone.
