Sandwich Rolls with Bacon

Ingredients:
- 8 slices of white bread
- 16 slices of smoked bacon
- 1 flat piece of cheese
- 2 tbsp coarse mustard.
- 2 tbsp green pesto
- Tasty BBQ Sauce
Necessities:
- Rolling pin
- Vuur&Rook Glace brush
Step 1: Go, Go, Go, Fire up the Q! Prepare your BBQ for indirect cooking (200°C).
Step 2: Cut the crusts off the casino bread and roll the bread well with a rolling pin.
Step 3: Cut 8 strips of cheese of approximately 2x2x8cm. These must be about the same length as the bread. Tip: Use a cheese to your own taste, but one that melts well!
Step 4: Spread 4 slices of bread with mustard and 4 slices of bread with pesto. Place a piece of cheese on the end of each loaf. Roll the bread so that the cheese is packed. Wrap each bread roll in 2 slices of bacon.
Step 5: Once the BBQ is up to temperature, place the bread rolls on the grid. Cook the rolls for about 3 minutes per side.
Step 6: After cooking, brush them with BBQ sauce and cook the rolls for another 5 minutes.
Step 7: Remove the sandwich rolls from the BBQ and serve them immediately.
Tip: Do you serve them as a snack? Then cut each roll in three.
