- 500 grams of chicken thighs
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 5 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1.5 tablespoons Goela Djawa or brown sugar instead
- 2 teaspoons of Ketoembar
- 1 teaspoon of Djinten
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- Sesame oil
- Sip of lemon juice
Step 1 : Remove the tendons and other unwanted pieces from the chicken thigh, but leave the white fat edges (fat = taste & tenderness).
Step 2 : Cut the chicken thighs into small pieces.
Step 3 : Mix all ingredients to make the marinade, and put it in a sealable bag with the chicken thighs. Let this withdraw 24 hours.
Step 4 : Thread the thighs on the skewers after 24 hours.
Step 5 : Grill these sticks directly, or cook them indirectly and grill briefly.
