Chuck Eye Steaks
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of Chuck Eye
- salt
- Oncle Jed's Charcoal Rub
- Olive oil
- Lump of butter (per steak)
Requirements:
Optional:
- Peanut Sauce
- Fried onions
- Nasi/white rice
- Wok vegetables
Step 1: Remove the silver skin and cut the fat between the meat. (do not throw this fat away we still need this.
Step 2: Cut the steaks to the desired thickness.
Step 3: Spread the steaks with olive oil and put them in the rub and let it soak in for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Light your BBQ or Joy Stove and bring it after a temperature of 170°C-180°C.
Step 5: Heat your skillet, put in the fat you have left and a little olive oil.
Step 6: Add the steaks and bake them to 2°C below the desired core temperature of 60°C to 61°C.
Step 7: Place a knob of butter on your steak and let it rest under a piece of aluminum foil.
