Chicken Pineapple / Bacon Skewer
Chicken pineapple / bacon skewer
Ingredients:
- Chicken fillet / chicken thighs meat
- Bacon stripping
- Pineapple (fresh or canned)
- BugHouse BBQ Rub
Necessities:
Step 1: Cut the chicken into cubes of ± 2x2 cm and put them in the mixing bowl. Rub them with the Bughouse bbq rub and mix them together.
Step 2 : Let the herbs withdraw for at least 60 minutes. Clean the ripe pineapple and cut it into cubes of ± 2x2 cm or open the can of pineapple.
Step 3: Now wrap the pineapple in the bacon. If you have bought bacon for a long time, you can cut it, half a slice is enough. Now thread the chicken and the pineapple / bacon alternately on a skewer. Place the skewers in the refrigerator before use.
Step 4: Go, Go, Go, Fire Up The Q! Heat up your BBQ to 170°C degrees (immediately). If necessary, fold a heat shield from the aluminum foil to protect your stick from the heat. Place the sticks for 10-15 minutes on the indirect part and turn them over after 7 minutes.
Step 5 : Grill them nicely on color on all sides. (directly) Grill them to a core temperature of at least 73°C.
Enjoy!
