Beer Can Chicken
Step 1: Light your BBQ and heat it up to approx. 115°C-120°C.
Step 2: Rub the chicken inside and outside with the rub. Let this withdraw for half an hour to an hour.
Step 3: Put the half-full beer can in the chicken sitter. Put your chicken on it and place it on the bbq.
Step 4: Grill the chicken in about 70-75 minutes to a core temperature of 72°C-76°C in the thigh. Measure this with your thermo pen. If you have not yet reached this core temperature, close the bbq for a while.
Step 5: Glaze your chicken with the sauce about 5 to 10 minutes before your chicken is ready, so that the sugars can caramelize.
Step 6: Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes.
