De Worst Story
The Worst Story is the story of a friendship between three boys (Samuel, Geert and Jiri), as it originated in the trenches of Amsterdam's horeca life and in legendary restaurants such as Le Hollandais and Vis aan de Schelde. Working, partying, cooking and chaos, that's the recipe. After they have gained a lot of experience in various top restaurants they decide to focus on making sausage.
Inspired by their heroes Carlo Petrini (Slow Food), Dario Cecchini (the ultimate roast king), Anthony Bourdain (cooking is rock 'n' roll) and Diny Schouten (the pie queen) pulls the triumvirate to their charcuterie pasta to the highest plan lifting. Via Paris and Corsica they travel to Italy, the walhalla of the sausage, fired by their love for the pig, for good food and for adventure. When they have mastered all the tricks of sausage making, they launch their own company. The passion for tasty and sustainable food, their political commitment and their friendship are the ideal ingredients for the very successful brand Brandt & Levie.
